AIPSSA Curtin hosted a warm and friendly New Students Gathering & Lunch Together to welcome both new and existing members at the start of the academic year. The event was held on Wednesday, 26 February 2025, from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at Alcoa Court, Curtin University (Bentley campus), creating a relaxed and inviting environment for everyone.

 

Set in the open green space of Curtin University, participants gathered informally—sitting together on the grass while enjoying their lunch. With a simple bring-your-own-lunch concept, attendees shared meals, stories, and laughter, while AIPSSA provided drinks for all. This created a comfortable and inclusive atmosphere where connections formed naturally.

 

The event offered new students a valuable opportunity to get to know the AIPSSA community, exchange experiences, and settle into life in Perth with greater confidence. At the same time, it allowed existing members to reconnect and strengthen friendships, reinforcing a strong sense of belonging.
